Running the Distance Tapestry

I loooved this painting! I know this was a Printed Canvas but it’s so full of Life and Color. Dimitri’s work is always Outstanding in Value. My husband and I come for a Conference at Sarasota every year and I’m going to look for your Gallery this year. We will be there last of March until middle of April. I would love to take Mastery Program but I’m a full time Registered Nurse and I’m limited. For now I keep taking your lessons when I can find a way. I have been trying to conceive a child for MANY years. I went through fertility treatments and they did not work and they made me very sick to the point I felt like if I continued I would die. I spent an entire year praying about what to do and I did not have peace with doing more treatments. I spent an entire year in prayer and God really ministered to my heart about adoption and what being a mother is. I started talking to a therapist to help me process my grief and I am the stage now where I am wanting to open my heart to be excited about adoption and dream about the beauty it will bring to our lives. My therapist suggested I start preparing a space for the baby to help me visualize and get excited. It's hard when you aren't pregnant and carrying a child to visualize and be excited, so my husband and I emptied out the spare room. I came across "Everlasting Light" and instantly felt soooo connected to this piece. The flowers represent my heart blooming, the bees are all the sweet words of encouragement that family and friends have been giving me to pollinate the hope in my heart. The mother and baby - the emotion and power of the relationship I see in this painting, I almost can't find words to explain it. But when I gaze upon this painting it helps me visualize my own child that is to come and the beautiful love that will consume me. The joy, the gratitude, the most beautiful gift from heaven, that's what I see. This painting now hangs in the room, waiting for the day where the dream & prayers become a reality. I allows me to go in that room and mentally and emotionally focus on hope, joy and love rather than sorrow and emptiness. I was first, very impressed with the actual feel of the cover of the book. And the paintings and poems were beautiful and inspiring! I have it sitting next to my cozy bohemian chair in my studio for when I want to relax and refer to it for inspiration.

This is a beautiful book. The pictures are beautifully presented and the book combines photos of art works interspersed with personal photos all with beautifully written text and quotes. I love the addition of the pages at the back for the reader to add their own dreams and hopes.
